Just over Ten Years after his collaboration with Steve Aoki “the Kids will have their say” on the Grammy nominated Album “Wonderland” Sick Boy steps back into the Spotlights with a new Single.

Came out in 2018 the EP “We Control the Night” with some Tracks dating from 2008-2010 and a Collab with Crystal Castles Producer Alex Zelenka called “Gave everything” went viral on Facebook stories with over 25 Million clicks (!!!!) then now finally a new song.

“You saved me” is a Letter of Thanks, a Love Letter, a goodbye and a new beginning. Instead of the Electro Banger Sound with which he scored several Beatport Hits like “bang your Head” and “Boom!” or the Sound with which he entered the Stage next to artists like Justice, Mstrkrft, BoysNoize, Ho99o9 you now hear Vocals, Guitars, Synths that pass by in a high Energy content and a text that comes from the Heart in such a way that it took Years before the guts were there to do something with it.”

Addiction, depression and the resulting reactions of loved ones all come up in this Track. After many years Sick Boy is now ready to put this side of himself in the spotlights.

The Track will be accompanied by a short movie made by Bastiaan Rook (a.o. Amy and I). In this film the above mentioned subjects will be discussed and we want to point out to people that looking for help is Ok. The film will also use footage from the time that SB needed help and was closer to it than he wanted to admit.

“This Number is a look into my personal life, my insecurities, the search for happiness, not being able to realize it was closer than I wanted to admit causing me to destroy it. This is my thank you to the person who made sure that I found Hope and now that I have overcome all my old demons I want by releasing this song to thank this person and indicate where I once was and where I am now as a Human being. Accepting help is Ok and with this “Letter” I hope that is clear to others as well.
